Default Casa 80 shallow hearth

Has any one ever built a Casa 80 with a very small landing in the front to minimize the the hearth dimension from front to back? IF so what dimensions were you able to do?

Thanks

I don't know from personal experience but it looks like...

you could mount the oven flush with the front wall if you used a smoke hood over the entry instead of a standard flue arangement.
