Lightbulb Weather Proofing

Just complete the curing process of our Premio2G110. It is cover by a barrel shaped roof that is basically an igloo. I am concerned about water entering the roof and wicking to the insulation/oven. There are a couple of very fine cracks in the mortar between the stones. Any products available to waterproof the natural stone as well as the mortar of the joints without change the color and appearance?

Hi PilotDoc,

We use SealKrete to waterproof our ovens. Whatever enclosure you build it needs to be waterproofed.

Hello All,

SealKrete is a vertical surface masonry/stone treatment. I've asked the manufacturer for a recommendation best suited to dome shape stucco structures. Hopefully they will respond with a variety of products to suit our needs.

Cheers,
