| I've not bough them myself, but most recent prices I've seen quoted here are £1.20 - £1.05 depending on quantity, from Midland Refractories. |

| I was given a price of £1.50 a brick (for 150) size(230x114x64) south west. Can anyone let me know of a cheaper supplier, obviously 1.05 will save me about 60 quid plus! thanks all. |

| As I said, I think people are finding Midland Refractories to be cheapest. Have you seen this thread? http://www.fornobravo.com/forum/f40/...s-uk-6657.html (Firebricks UK) |

| Thanks David, I had seen that post but I'm only going to be in the south of the UK for a few days. I can collect them from a place not too far from me for €1.71 which is roughly £1.55 at present... if I can find somewhere in southern UK where I can collect for less than that I'll go for it. I've seen a place online which I think is somewhere in Kent (the web site doesn't seem to be fully functioning) selling refrax, firebrick, and FB casa ovens by the look of it too. I'm going to see what they can do....

| Yeah, Midland will do them for £1.05, with delivery usually ~£50. See my spreadsheet for the details (link below).

| Vitcas also do them, £1.40 - which is the price Midland quoted me also- I went with them as the delivery was cheaper. Midland wanted £75 !! |

I just bought 140 bricks from Vitcas, £1.50 per brick plus vat is what I was charged! They tried asking for £1.60, but to be fair, the main guy seemed like a good guy and was more than happy to give me as much advice as he could and we chewed the fat on pizza oven construction for at least half an hour! S'pose it was worth the extra £16, plus I did not need delivery. |
