| I'm a newbi here.... Built the stand, poured my hearth, installed the firebrick oven floor over a 5 inch layer of vemiculite/concrete insulation. Designing the 39" (ID) oven dome with a 20" internal height. Wondered if the internal height is too high for a Tuscan type oven. |

| Hey Sini, Glad we sorted out your user ID. :-) I think that will work fine. The Premio100, which is the higher Tuscan design oven, has an internal dome height of 19.7". Other builders have seen dome height creep up, where small angles add up over the chains. Something to think about. James
