| Hi there guys, i've got my firebricks and 4 bags of high alumina cement and ready to start my oven. How do i use the cement, do i use it neat with water? do i add normal cement and sand? do i add just sand? I'm over in the U.K and i've been on the manufacturers website( Castle)and it doesn't give any user information. Hope someone can help. thanks chicken |

| You've got to call the manufacturer, and ask to speak to technical support. At the very least, they will fax you a spec sheet, which should have instructions for use. They may connect you to someone who will be very helpful. It may be the calcium aluminate mentioned here (High Heat Mortar Primer), or it may be a prepared mortar. I just don't know.
