| I am in the North Shore area of the Boston burbs... and just getting started on building a foundation and oven stand for my prefab pizza oven. given the cold winters and freezing/thawing we experience, what would you reccomend for a depth and material of the foundation. i was going to dig down 10 inches and pack approx 5 inches of stone and then poor a 5-7" reinforced slab. the foundation is going to be 5'x6'. i am also attaching counters on each side, should i connect these areas to my oven foundation? or have them seperate? thanks! can't wait to get this going and start cooking! |
