Default Fireclay

Hi all - Having never worked with fire clay before how much is required to order for the leveling of the WFO base. Hope this is not a dumb question. Regards Dave.

There are no dumb questions.......only dumb answers!

To level my base of insulation bricks I mixed up 1/2 a bucket of 50/50 fireclay & sand and I probably didn't even use 1/4 of a bucket of that mix. I spread mine out with a notched trowel to be able to bed the bricks in.

Hi Paul

Thanks for the reply. It gives me an idea on quantity. I have found someone to buy it off, so I will buy a kg and mix with sand.

Regards

Dave
