| I am about to start on the actual oven, I am building a 42" pompeii. I am planning on placing my soldier course using bricks standing upright around the perimeter of the hearth. What angle is recommended for cutting the top of the soldiers. Thanks for any suggestions Eric |

| when i built my oven i made a templet and cut all the brick in half and tiped all the brick with morter and then ripped the templet out. |
