Right ....we're off at last! Yesterday I dug out a patch in my lovely green lawn for the foundation concrete to go in ...... so now it's either an oven or I've got some pretty serious landscape designing to do!! This week I hope to get the foundations and base and hopefully the hearth all set out so I can then focus on the dome next week. I'll keep you posted and hope to get some pics up as well. I'm also sure to have a number of questions as I go along, so watch this space!

Welcome board and happy bulding,

This tells me two things. First, when you start digging up the garden, you are truly ready to build. No turning back now. I remember cutting into the lawn, and the feeling of both making progress, and nerves.

And second, you are in the southern hemisphere. It's winter here!
