Default Can I use Granite 4 dome and floor

http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/publ...s/DSCN4476.jpg

I would love to use pink granite for my floor and dome. What are the prose and cons to using granite? And if I do, what would you do differently using granite?

Thank You for your responses and experiences

This is very interesting. How are you thinking of cutting the block, and how large are you thinking of making the dome and floor pieces?
