Default Florida Building code - permit?

Hi all,

We are thinking of building a WF oven, Pompeii, in Seminole County, FL. Does anyone know if a permit is needed? We spoke to a friendly inspector, and he said he thought we may need one, but was not sure. We have a call into the county, but no response yet. Not sure id we want to go through all of the work AND county inspections too, so thought we had better ask around first. Any help will be much appreciated.

You might want to reach out to KBartman as he has built an oven in his backyard. Trust me when I say that there are few ppl in FL government that have a clue about wood burning ovens as I have run up against my fair share with my mobile rig.
