| Hi all, We wanted to be sure you knew about this great event scheduled for the end of July, in Maine. From the organizers: "The annual Maine Kneading Conference draws people from around the U.S. and Canada (and beyond). The conference provides hands-on workshops, lectures and panel discussions about everything to do with bread: growing and milling the grain, baking bread, pastries and pizza (beginner to professional levels), starting a micro-bakery, food writing, and more. "The New York Times has called the conference 'the center of a quiet revolution.'" –*http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/25/di...r=2&ref=dining See the website for more details: Information | The Kneading Conference (There is also a Kneading Conference West. Info on this posted under the Western U.S. Regional Forum.) |
