| Hey Pacman and others. Looks like I will have some excess material - a bag of dry fireclay, a bucket of wet fire clay from my cuttings and some other goodies. Any interest? My dome is complete and have been the IT specialist in the house tonight to dload my daughters 300 + pictures and movies from the camera. Let me see if I can get anything done this eve! |

| Hi everyone, Newbie to this forum, and am also looking to build in fall. I live in Chandler, and would also be interested in suppliers for materials. The closer the better. Thanks |

| Marvel (on country club in Mesa) for the fire clay, HD for fire bricks (red) or Marvel for yellow. Flue liner - marvel. HD/Lowes for the standard building stuff. Phoenix Brick for the refractory if you are going that route. Others can chime in as well. There are a few others that are here in the valley.

| Well Hey, don't forget me. I'm in Glendale but these here electronic thingys will get my helpful comments to you like I was sending them from your spare bedroom. Not every Home Depot carries fire brick in the valley area. Check Craigs List. Use several spellings and each time someone new will pop-up. Seems like there is no uniform spelling for fire brick, firebrick, bricks, etc. (or kiln brick) Whatever, you'll want a "fire brick" to weigh about 7.5 pounds plus or minus a few ounces. I've got a bag of lime for give-away, some fire clay and silica sand too. Cheers,

| Definitely hit up Craigs List, I got my exterior bricks 4 for a dollar on CL, fire brick at HD for about $1.25a piece I think. I still have about 30 Fire bricks would be willing to let them go for 20$(its a start anyway). Otherwise probably just going to use them for a fire pit. |

| Just joined, and I live in Gilbert. I have a three part plan: 1- Make my own beer. 2 - make my own pizza. 3 - repeat 1 and 2. I have completed step 1, now on to 2! Would love to see someone's completed oven and get a feeling for the basics before I start my project. My intitial post is held up in admin right now, but feel free to read more about me when posted. Thanks! |
