| As soapstone is the softest rock there is, you can easily sand it and the resulting powder is talc powder, another name for soapstone is talc stone.I'm interested in anyones experience with it, as to how it stands up to constant abrasion from metal peels, oven pots, wire brushes etc. Any one out there with experience of soapstone as an oven floor and its wear characteristics ? |
