| I finished my oven. If anyone is building an oven in San Diego, I have some extras. I don't want to ship it. I wasn't sure if a box of insulation would do an entire layer on my oven. It turns out that it will, with some left over. I bought four, and needed less than three. I have an unopened box of 25'x2'x1" ceramic fiber insulation. I have a good section of the last box that I didn't need too. I also have probably half a bag of fire clay that I don't need. We cooked our first pizzas Thursday night. I checked my oven Saturday morning, and the floor was still 250 degrees. After it cooled a little, I tried to get my kid to throw in some fruit to dehydrate, but she was too cranky . I'm thinking $75. |
