Rock Wool Insulation

I am pretty much ready to pour my base. I've found everything except the famous insulating blanket. I maigh be able to find vermiculite, but I am not optimistic.

I insulated the inner walls of my house with 'rock wool' insulation. It is supposed ot be fireproof, and I figure no over is going ot get hot enough to melt rock wool.

Has anybody tried this stuff? I already have loads of it.
