Insulation material suppliers in South Africa

Did I have a run around to find suppliers!
I'll save you the saga & only share that should you need insulating bricks you can get them at Vereeniging Refractories in Springs (for those who do not know the area, vereeniging & springs is some 100km appart). tel 016 450 6111. The ones to go for goes by the name S20 and costs R12 each

Ceramic blanket goes by the name B96/25 from RMS in Boksburg North 011 917 0702. Costs R300/box which includes 7.32x6.1x.025

Nice idea Dolf...

I live in Cape Town, and am at the early stages of planning a build. I've been costing materials and finding suppliers and came across a company called Cape Refractory Industries (Pty) Ltd (based in Brackenfell, tel: (021) 982-7484), which stocks firebricks, refractory mortar and insulation.

Hope this can help someone in future.
