 The preacher
After the Sunday service the Preacher was greeting all as they exited the church. One little girl told the preacher as she was exiting with her parents, "When I grow up, I'm going to give you all my money".
Heartened by the fact that at least one member of the church was touched by his sermon, he pressed the girl for a little more information. He asked her what made her decide to give him all of her money.
The little girl told him that during the sermon, "I heard daddy tell mommy that you were the poorest preacher that he as ever heard!" |
