Well that was a hoot.

Booked a dry stone walling course ages ago, the only one going is in Hobart Tasmania, about 700 Kms away from here.
Got to Melbourne airport 5 minutes late and they wouldnt let me on board.
Had to buy another ticket for $80 for the next flight.
Arrived at Hobart airport only to sit on a bus for 45 minutes before he departed for Hobart, now Im 1 1/2 late for the class.

Got to the course for stone wall building and there was not one single piece of stone in sight, it was all white board and pen stuff so I left, I can do that on line or from a book.
Left for the Hobart airport and spent the next 4 hours waiting for the return flight.
All up it cost me $500.
Brilliant.

The highlight of the day was feeding 100's of seagulls chips down by the dock and being filmed by a bunch of Asian tourists.....
