Default Is this a Tuscan style grill?

I was perusing YouTube vids the other day and saw this "wood oven" video
Grill? where the two ladies pictured demonstrate lighting an oven outside of Lucca, IT. My question is what the structure is in the picture below? It is just being used for wood storage here, but looks to be more substantial in purpose. The pizza oven they are demoing is to the left in the video. The "grill" looks like it has been fired at one time (soot on archway). Thanks for any thoughts...

Yes, that is exactly what it looks like to me. I ran into a grill similar to this outside of Greve in Chianti. I posted a few pics a while back...

That's cool!

When I first thought about building an oven I was considering the fireplace/oven combo with the fireplace underneath.

Now I'm thinking I should have gone for the fireplace/grill combo and separate oven.

Live and learn.

I've always liked the design I saw in the FB wood-fired cook book that has the grill on the side (90* to) of the oven. Not sure I'd do enough grilling for the effort, though.

This is a good traditional grill and it do works excellent and we can do most of the work from this grill as well.

No idea if it's typical of Tuscany, but I'm sure a huge fan of the aesthetic, and as I do a lot of cooking over fire, often for a good sized crowd - seems like a terribly attractive option at the moment.
