| Hi all, Bush fire pit somewhere to sit relax and have a few drinks, listen to music and cook bush food. We made a rough pit out of bits and pieces, we first used it to burn prunings and branches from our property when we were cleaning up, it just grew from there it changes every year. We now have wind breaks on three sides the last being a double 12'' wood log wall (this wood is not for burning) we have plenty of wood that is not suitable for the WFO or for the inside wood heater. We put down crushed rock to level of the erea, the pit is a good distance from the house so the smoke does not get in the house. We use the fire pit from May until September it gets a fair bit of use. Although it's sub tropical where we live but because it's a few kilometres inland from the coast (11.5km from Coffs Harbour) and over some hills it gets cool in the winter time. Just right for sitting around a good fire with Family and Friends or just my Wife and I. Cheers Doug

| You must cut that wood with a ruler and a square ![]() I like your philosophy of looking within yourself for peace, instead of searching everywhere to find it.

| Hi Lee, No just a saw bench and spirit level. I can't tell a lie, I just used my chain saw and my eye no spirit level, ruler or square. The only ruler at my house is my Wife. Cheers Doug
