Hi,dear fellow builders!
We took a "short vacation" to visit some relatives in Kagoshima prefecture
in the south of Japan .The volcano that you see is mount Sakurajima the most
active volcano in all of the country.The other pics are from the coastal area
near the volcano.
Having lived in Hawaii for almost six years ,visiting Kagoshima brings back good memories.The weather,some of the beaches the waters similar to the islands.

I've been remiss in welcoming you (and many others too) to the forum but it's great to have you (and them!) aboard!
Those are great photos - Japan is high on my list of places to visit someday. It looks like a very beautiful place.
