Default Mushroom and artichokes

We did a mushroon/artichoke appetizer that went over very well this evening.
Took mushrooms, removed the stems put about 1/2 teaspoon or so of herb butter in and then stuffed the mushroom cap with part of an artichoke heart. Grated a bit of parmesean over and a sprinkle of paprika to top.
Had in a bunch of these in a tera-cotta pan and kept that in the entry way of the oven as it was heating up for pizzas, tried to maintain at about 350-375 by moving pan around and rotating as needed. Did this for about 8 minutes until they had a nice color on them.
Was great!

Sounds really great! I love stuffed shrooms with crab meat and covered with cheese. One of the great appetizers out there!

I have to agree about the crab stuffed mushrooms. But I will be trying the Mushroom and artichokes. They sound too good to pass up. Just the idea has inspired me to try stuffing those mushrooms with other things.
