Default ***Where Is Home Depot***

Hi All
Just a curiosity question again, I know here in the states we have tons of Home depot's and Lowes' How Do you guys in Austrailia, England, All over the world source your supplies,

Do you have Hope Depot ? Lowes ? Some other kinds of big box store ?

And I call it Hope Depot because I hope they have what I want and need...

In this part of Canada (Ontario), we have HD, Lowes, Costco. The local term is "Home Cheapo," because prices can be quite good. Still, Costco sells only bleached flours, so I'm still using my trade supplier for baking materials. Their prices are pretty good, too.

Because they don't sell a lot of it, the home depot type stores may not be the best place for construction materials like rebar and bricks.
Try your local construction wholesalers.

We have nothing! ! ! Costco just opened in Melbourne, Victoria.

In the US, you have so many amazing stores. Many things we cannot get in Australia that you can buy... real shame!

North America can support big box hardware stores because besides contractors, there are many more do-it-yourselfers here than other parts of the world.
