Are you serious, there is a place called "Hicksville" i thought this was a joke name like Biggus Dickus...

No offense intended to any Hicks who may be reading.

Interesting story recently down here about soft serve ice cream They collected samples and the ONLY sample that did not have an unacceptable ecoli count (what you get from human feces) was McDonalds
Every other store or vendor failed. So you may dislike the food but the staff training and discipline must be good.

Hicksville is no joke, It was established around a station of the newly laid Long Island Railroad in the 1830, by a son in law of the famous Elias Hicks who named it after his family. It's now a NYC suburb.

Hicks was, perhaps unfairly, blamed for the split-up of the Religious Society of Friends into warring fragments in the 19th century.

There is also a Hicksville, Ohio; don't know if it's named for the same Hicks family.
