Thumbs up Sightings....

James:

(are you out there?)

how about a new section for WFO related sightings?

members can post things they see on the net for other members....like tile saws or diamond blades on sale.....pizza ingredients....used fire tools on EBAY and other EBAY auction stuff of interest....anything neat that other members might be interest in!

Whaddyallthink?

Thumbs up Re: Sightings....

Yep!
I'll second that. Fire bricks for the newbies to buy off ebay or ellsewhere. Saw some pizza ovens the other day also.
A good idea for all, even us established oldies who might be looking for something special.
Especially for different places around the world.

Be careful: I googled around, and this may not be an asbestos-free product.

Quote:
Asbestos Liabilities

ITEM A. - OWENS CORNING (EXCLUDING FIBREBOARD)

Numerous claims have been asserted against Owens Corning alleging personal injuries arising from inhalation of asbestos fibers. Virtually all of these claims arise out of Owens Corning’s manufacture, distribution, sale or installation of an asbestos-containing calcium silicate, high temperature insulation product, the manufacture and distribution of which was discontinued in 1972. Owens Corning received approximately 18,000 asbestos personal injury claims during 2000, approximately 32,000 such claims during 1999 and approximately 69,000 such claims during 1998. Owens Corning cautions that it has limited information about many of such claims, and the actual numbers of claims asserted remain subject to adjustment.
