| Hi all, Has anyone noticed posts disappearing from their threads? I have found a couple of times now that a whole days worth of posts have gone when I read my oven building thread. |

| maybe we can request the mopderator/s to leave a trail when posts get moved. Sometimes posts start out in the introductions but rapidly evolve into another entity susch as Just getting started or Pompeii Construction. When that happends it is weither up to the author to let everyone know they are moving the conversation to the proper folder or as it sounds in this case someone moved it for you. |

| Yes, I can do that. There is an option to leave a "it was moved here" notice, and I will start doing that. Good idea. James

| Hi, The website that I used to mod at would also include a post in the thread to tell people why things had been moved. It made things less confusing for the people who's posts been moved. That way they didn't think it was a disciplinary action when in fact it just needed to go to a more appropriate forum. Just thought I'd throw in the idea.

| James, whilst we are on this line of thinking, I feel that it seems appropriate that we have some new topic headings/titles for posts that don't really fit the description with any that are currently available. I have put up a few new threads and searched for a suitable place to start the thread but had to settle for maybe? one that it 'might fit'. An example is the oven door, quite specific and an extra to the construction, tools tips and tricks, etc. Also books or references recommended to fellow members, unless they contribute to 'new posts' would have to trip over them or luck onto a search to find something suitable which might otherwise be missed. May I suggest two extra titles: • Books and References for the WFO and grills - construction, baking and cooking. • Oven extras to improve their performance, doors, blowers, illumination, rotisories, (oven) grilles. | That's a good point. I was thinking the just other day it would be nice to have a section on oven doors. There are so many different doors out there, but can be hard to find them even if you know where to look.

| James, there's probably an option for sub forums. You might consider those rather than having so many new forums. You could have "oven doors" under "building and construction" for example. We can probably think of a couple dozen more suggestions if you don't have enough to keep you busy...

| Hi all, I just lost another new thread - about spelt sourdough, in the hearth breads forum. Was this moved somewhere or is there a forum bug maybe?
