| The original roofing tiles on our house are handmade.....er sort of. The builder who did our extension told me they were made by slapping a slab of clay on a woman's thigh. If you look you can see that they are tapered and with the fingerprints lines. He said that those women were know for some very nice thighs.

| And for Frances....the hexagonal floor tiles are even better nice finger mark swirls but the various defects are even better childs foot print, worker foot print, cat/dog footprints.... pretty hard to find anymore....

| Hmm, I'm guessing you'd have to slap the clay over a woman's thigh, because if you used a man's thigh the wet clay would stick to the hairs.... (ouch!) Dear oh dear, what next I wonder? Those foor tiles are incredible! Thanks for posting Jim! |
