Wink Nice thighs too!

The original roofing tiles on our house are handmade.....er sort of.

The builder who did our extension told me they were made by slapping a slab of clay on a woman's thigh. If you look you can see that they are tapered and with the fingerprints lines.

He said that those women were know for some very nice thighs.

And for Frances....the hexagonal floor tiles are even better

nice finger mark swirls but the various defects are even better

childs foot print, worker foot print, cat/dog footprints....

pretty hard to find anymore....

Hmm, I'm guessing you'd have to slap the clay over a woman's thigh, because if you used a man's thigh the wet clay would stick to the hairs.... (ouch!)
