Default Internet by the pool

We just got the AT&T 3G wireless adapter for our Mac notebook -- and it works! It's a little USB adapter that picks up the cell phone data network.

I can just picture it -- working by the community pool where the kids take swimming lessons. :-) I'm going to need tinted reading glasses.

Now, you can't tell where I will be when I post in the forum.
James

Thumbs up Re: Internet by the pool

Ah ha, that is whilst your battery lasts!
Oh, that's right, if it's a mac, that means it's bulletproof!

You've got me thinking now...

Hey, lets have a contest to see who can come up with the most unlikely location for each of James' posts to be coming from...

I don't yet have the fancy usb card, but I can tether my laptop to my cellphone and enjoy the speed of 3G networks - It's fast enough to do Skype with voice!

I've enjoyed reading the forum at many airports and many places this way.My cell phone just does not cut it when I want to look at Frances' latest tiling progress!
