Default Exercise your brain

Speaking of getting older, here is an article on keep the old brain more agile as we age. I'm banking on learning a language. :-)

I'm with ya James - I'm going to focus on English. After my game of golf today - I have that language down... I had no idea how many F's were involved, but I worked through it quite well

Les...

PS. Great article - gives one hope

I'd heard those reports before that learning a new language was one of the best brain exercises out there. It certainly doesn't come easy. Foul language I have down pat (like Les apparently. Golf does that to you!) Pig latin is next, then on to....hmmmmm

baby boomers who are encountering the signs, by turns amusing and disconcerting, that accompany the decline of the brain’s acuity: a good friend’s name suddenly vanishing from memory; a frantic search for eyeglasses only to find them atop the head; milk taken from the refrigerator then put away in a cupboard.

I do all that already.....eek! Yesterday I walked to town and then wondered where I parked the car....it was nice knowing you guys!

...back to the Shanghai and Sodoku games....

Now that was funny SJ. I hope that logic works for my Pompeii. As long as the first brick and the last brick are in the right place, the rest can be a total mess and it will still cook a pizza without a problem.
