DC Elite Pizza, a club for pizza enthusiasts in the Washington area, met at Paul Fiorino's in Arlington on October 12 and we made some awesome pies. Paul built his own wood-fired oven by hand, and it performs beautifully.

It's hard to imagine having more fun, and you'll never find a better bunch of guys. We spent a good three hours and baked something like 17 pizzas, only a few of which made it home.

Some members have their own ovens, some hope to soon, and some are just mental for pizza. When not slinging pies, we meet at the better pizzerias for nourishment and camaraderie.

I've already got an FB Casa 110 at home, and represent Forno Bravo in the National Capital area. A great way to meet terrific people!
