Default Brazilian pizzaiolo in Kabul

In search of a better life, a 38-year-old Brazilian miner has moved to Kabul with his family and opened a pizza place, reports the BBC Brazilian edition.

Home deliveries only, for security reasons - a service the Afghan customers appreciate as they hate to go out after dark...

Business is booming for the ex-miner, who has trained three local pizzaioli and 'no longer puts a hand in the dough', according to the service.

Just thought I'd attach this tidbit of info to the shot of an apparently woodfired pizza oven in "one of the elegant quarters of Kabul'...

Cheers,

LMH
