Nice. A great place to land. Watch out for the bats under the bridge!
Stay out of the Continental but eat the ice cream across the street.
Really good Red Beans & Rice on 6th St.
The hill country is like a forgotten heaven.
Maybe a wood fired oven can smoke out the folks that want keep Austin weird.

Welcome.

I gotta tell ya... after surfing the threads here for a few days, I am absolutely blown away at how much info and expertise there is here.

I'm extremely thankful I found this site.

I'm getting all kinds of ideas for when I build my WFO.

Welcome aboard, Ronzorelli!

You are coming up on the perfect building season - starting about October. Don't wait till spring because the heat pretty much shuts most of us down in the summer.

Ovens are an addiction!

Building will have to take a backseat for awhile. Getting married in May and all the spare change between now and then will be put away to pay for that.

Welcome to the forum. There seems to be several of us in the area building an oven. Take the advice about waiting until the fall. I got the base all done in June/July but the heat was almost too much.
