Default Introduction

Hi, I came across this forum while researching brick ovens, and it looks like an excellent resource. I just bought a house with pretty much nothing in the backyard, so I thought it would be fun to put a brick oven in the plan for the back patio and landscaping.

It'll probably be a while before I can actually build it, since there will be a lot of planning and prep work required to get the yard planned and adequately leveled, but meanwhile I'll be reading through the forums to see what other people have done to get ideas.

Thumbs up Re: Introduction

Yes Levi, welcome.
the obsession will come very quickly and if you are not to careful, you will be up to armpits in the build and then as I am now, enjoying the products that come out of the ovens.
It all happens just as fast as you can cope. Read, ask, plan and BUILD!!!!
Check out all the pics of the different builds as there are a multitude of ideas on which to ponder.

Happy planning.

Welcome! You will find (as I have) that the folks here will turn you into a backyard mason in no time! I can honestly say that I have enjoyed this home project more than any I have done, and this forum is a big reason for that.
