Default Hello from Orange County

Hi,

I am looking to build a pizza oven in my backyard or possibly replace the fireplace with a wood fire oven if possible. Looking to possibly check out ovens in my nearby area and talk with contractors with oven building experience.

You will likely have a hard time finding a contractor who will know how to build an oven that performs well. Best to find a contractor who will study and follow the fornobravo plans (free).

You will find a link for downloading the plans here. (A newbie’s survey of the Forno Bravo treasures hiding in the archives)

There are many horror stories here about an expensive oven incorrectly built. Study the plans and save yourself some emotional energy.

Best Regards,
