Default Hello from Minnesconsin

That would be the border region between Minnesota and Wisconsin. Close to Minneapolis and St. Paul, part of Wisconsin, but I have to watch the Vikings on TV instead of the Green and Gold.

I got started on this with an old stone sort-of BBQ - I think it had been meant to be an oven, but had been remuddled to destruction. When I started to take it apart to repair loose stonework, I found that it was rotten to the core. That lead to tearing up the old loose stone patio and retaining walls...

So. I've got a pit in my backyard where I hope to have a 350 square foot patio poured sometime soon. I've got a brother-in-law who will help me put in the retaining walls and the base of the oven, which is going to go in the back corner. I'm hoping to use an igloo design, but covered with bricks instead of stucco - and looking forwards to getting some advice here on how to go about it.
