 Hello from Chester UK My name is Geoff Ryall-Harvey. I'm 51 and recently retired to look after our baby daughter as a full time stay at home Dad. My other interest is motor cars; I have a Blackjack Avion trike, a 1955 Ford Anglia with 2 litre Capri running gear and I'm about 75% into the build of a steel 1927 Model T Ford with a huge Pontiac V8 engine. I can post pictures on request if anyone is interested. We are having a big glass box tacked onto the back of the house and, while the builders are here, decided to have a WFO in the back yard. Sad to say that Jamie Oliver was one of the major inspirations for this - I also enjoy making pizzas, bread, porchetta and other Italian foods. I've bought a modular oven from a company called Bluestone Water and it will be boxed in using reclaimed bricks from the house alterations and will have a pitched roof - using tiles that will also be reclaimed from the house. | Re: Hello from Chester UK Hi BlackJack Welcome to the forum, like you I get a lot out of this group during my oven build last year and also now with new ideas of what to cook. I can seriously say the oven is probably one of the best ideas I've had and we have cooked quite a bit in it from fantastic pizza to roast dinners most Sundays. The flavour is out of this world and it's good to get out in the garden even in our UK weather. Enjoy the oven and post some pictures. ryh

| Re: Hello from Chester UK Welcome Geoff! Would love to see some pics of the Model T! You've joined the best group for ideas in design, building and cooking in wood-fired ovens. I can only imagine what it would be like to come home to a wonderful oven-roasted dinner with all the trimmings after climbing around in one of your famous pots all day! (I'm a caver).
