Default Hello

I came across this site while gathering information on building a barrel vault designed oven. I mostly make bread but recently my brother wants to build an oven for pizza.

I hadn't read about round ovens until I came here, now I'm not sure which direction to go. Pizza and bread can be baked in both styles of ovens but there are trade-offs.

My breads are whole grain, I don't use any white flour but sometimes add semolina to my pizza dough.

best,
chris

Al,

That is a very nice oven and I like the idea of the thermal break. I think I'll stick to my original plan which is very close in design to your oven.

best,
chris
