Default Hello!

Hello everybody,

What an excellent forum! I have a bread oven in my home, but I'm interested in building an outdoor pizza oven, so I'm here so see what I can learn.

Hey MarkRS; My name is MarkRLewis!!
I joined the forum the same time as you did. What is the weather like in Finland? Still Cold? It is spring here in North Carolina and trees and flowers are blooming and it is beautiful.

I had many questions and am definitely going to build a permanent fire-brick pompeii oven. But I wanted to learn more about various issues and wanted something NOW without spending a lot of money....so I decided to build a cob/clay oven.

It has been fun and I have learned much. I am recommending to all newbies to attempt a similar oven. It is very cheap ($100 US) and very satisfying so far. After all, thats where the initial ovens began: earthen ovens.

Check out my link and let me know what you think:

Keep in touch and best of luck!
