Question Forno Bravo history?

James, where did the name Forno Bravo come from? It may be on the site but I have not seen a reference to the FB name.....and I never saw a picture of you on FB either....it that intentional? I can't believe you're that modest!

Yeah James.. Were you horribly disfigured in a La Panyol explosion on the East Coast in the early eighties? I'm sorry. That was uncalled for. I really have a lot of growing up to do..

Hey Jim,

Forno Bravo came from a friend in Healdsburg. Her family is from Lucca, as are some of the winery owners and grape growers in Healsburg (Bacchi, Seghesio, Foppiano, Rafinelli, etc.). She was visiting us, along with her cousins right when the company was coming together. It was one of those wine-induced, late night things, where most of what we came up with couldn't be printed. Still, I think the name is pretty good, and it grows on you.

I play tennis, and you hear the other guys calling out Bravo to each other when they hit a good shot.

Brava Brenda.

Nick,
LOL. How did you know? Most people just don't say anything.

Disfigured,
James
