Default Forno Bravo Australia

G'day all,

I am very happy to announce Forno Bravo Australia. The Forno Bravo ovens will soon be available for local delivery in Australia. We are very excited.

To start, we will be stocking the Casa2G ovens, and we will have the Casa2G90 and Casa2G100 (the sweet spot) ovens arriving for customer shipment from Sydney and Melbourne in the next few weeks. We will be adding the Casa2G80, Casa2G110 and the Giardino ovens next.

We have been moving as quickly as possible to be ready for Australian summer!

The Casa2G kits come with everything you need to build the oven, including 3 x 1" ceramic dome insulation and 2" ceramic board insulation, the mortar, 24" stainless steel chimney, door and thermometer. The customer only needs to supply the blocks, concrete and render -- and a little labor. :-)

We will be supporting a network of regional and specialist dealers, and the ovens are priced very aggressively. We are going to be really shaking things up -- for the better!

Forno Bravo Australia | Pizza Ovens in Australia is live, and we will be announcing FB Australia in the FB Wood-Fired Newsletter on Monday.

Finally, I want to say thanks to all of our down under FB Forum members. You are a constant source of great input, humor and inspiration. Without you, we would have never pushed so hard to create FB Australia.

Cheers,
James

You'll have to hurry James, our summer has only 5 weeks of it left.

You're right. I should have said summer/fall. :-)

Thumbs up Re: Forno Bravo Australia

James,
most of Australian winters are as good if not better than some of your summers, so why not aim for the winter build in readiness for next summer.
Then again, why not use it all year round as we can, and do!
See how our numbers of participating members is steadily growing, I now have 127 Australian members on my list.

one more thing how much space does one need when baking with a wfo?
i have plenty space for benches to the left, but glass bi fold doors about 1000mm from the ovens entry...would using a paddle with minimal space of about 1m be a problem?

The bigger the oven the longer the handles on the peels need to be and the further you have to reach into the oven.

thanks david, so a 1m depth oven would require 1.5m paddle or there abouts?
