Hi The oven door of my Britannia cooker is faulty - the hinges have unhinged and I can't get it back again. Britannia cannot advise how to repair and wonder if there is a good website anyone can recommend that shows how to repair ovens? Please suggest me some good tools like screwdrivers etc. which helps me to repair my oven. Thanks

Because an oven is continually expanding and contracting hinged doors are problematic. As kilns get older it is nearly always that the doors no longer fit properly. I think a door that is free standing and sits in place against the entry is a much better solution.maybe you can adapt yours to do this.

Search for Tscarborough's thread, he is working on his door as we speak, I think. He has great ideas and experiments to see what works. Derk
