Default When can I make pizza!?!?!

On the last day of curing, when I reach 800ish, can I make a standard pizza making fire? Or should I only let it get to 800 and then die down? ie, do I have to stop at 800 or can I let it go.. I'm ready to clear up the dome and cook some pizzas in the inferno from hell!!

I've seen lots of people cook pizzas on the last day of curing fires. Go for it!

i say go for it too,,
I did and have yet to develop a crack.. BUT i dont know about the others, but I heat my oven to about 900, let it cool to about 700 and keep a fire burning, I put one or two logs on the left side on top of two fire bricks and that will keep my floor at 6-700 as long as i keep the logs burning. Good luck and enjoy

Most of us would do the same. Can't think of any reason why you shouldn't make a pizza if you want to. Kinda hard to wait after all of the work you put into building the oven.
