Default Refrax/Refmix, Same or different?

Since I needed to seal the seams on my oven, I had to purchase another bag of Refmix but received a Refrax instead. Saturday I was only able to finish one side of the oven with the remaining Refmix and when I started to finish the rest of the oven with Refrax, I noticed is that the color of Refmix is a very light gray and and Refrax is much darker. I went ahead and finished applying the Refrax so I am hoping that it is just the color of the mix and nothing more

Yes, they are the same stuff. We had to change the name in the U.S. because another company has the rights to the Refrax name here.

It is a different color, but it works the same. Coat away.

Thanks James, it's already done. Now I'm ready to insulate, frame and start curing. I'm finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel
