Looking for Oven efficiency analysis, where heat is going, etc.
Now that I have a working oven, I am taking note of the temps at various locations to check efficiency of my oven compared to others. Particularly since I went with a non-standard insulator, the K-19 brick, I want to see where it is falling with the insulating factors compared to what others are getting with different materials.
I know others have done some similar analysis but now cannot find it on here. If a standard format has been developed to conduct such an analysis let me know.
Re: Looking for Oven efficiency analysis, where heat is going, etc.
Can you give us more details on your oven (size, insulation thickness, thermocouples etc) so we can have a reference point.
