Cool Nursery Home School Cafe

My wife and I went to Hot Springs NC to the Bridge St. Cafe for brick oven pizza. It is a Bed & Breakfast about 1 hour form Asheville NC. It is owned by a young couple with 2 small children. The oven was made from bricks from the old school. The pizza took about 1 hour, the owner came to our table while he was holding the infant and said the wood was wet and he was having a problem getting the oven up to temp. The restaurant was empty and he could not have taken in $100.00 for the night. The pizza was not cooked and the ziti was not even hot. We were the only customers there that were eating. I felt bad for the owners they had their hands full with the children and no buisness. It was not worth the trip, the next week we went to Asheville and had a pizza at Carrabba's and it was very good. We miss the pizza at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Delray Beach Florida. Excellent pizza and wings made in the oven.
