Default Il Pizzaiolo del Presidente -- Naples

Here is restaurant review number two from Adam in Naples.

James

Napoli day 3

Pizza Report # 2

Pizzeria-
il Pizzaiolo del Presidente
Via Tribunale, 120/121
081-21.09.03
www.ilpizzaiolodelpresidente.it

founded by Ernesto Cacialli in 2004 (+/-)
Ernesto Cacialli was the former pizzaiolo
at DeMateo (see pizza report #3) when Bill Clinton was
president of USA and DeMateo had a visit from the
then-sitting prez.

Margarita- 3 euro
Marinara - 3 euro
the highest price pizza was about 6 euro
one oven, 2 levels for dining

the pizza was ordered and arrived within 3 minutes.
the pizza was certainly delicious, and looked perfect,
but I thought a bit "soft". The bottom (pasta) was not
crispy enough for my personal taste.
Still, the Marinara was amazing with tons of flavor
and nice garlic. If you notice the address, via
Tribunale, it is the same street as in last report,
and DeMateo (report forthcoming) is also on via
Tribunale. There are many many fine pizzerie on this
street, and possible the source of some of the world's
best.

recommended.
