Thumbs up Cuevas del Vino

This was a very cool restaurant. You sit in the old olive oil mill with hams hanging on the ceiling, canaries singing and watch the fresh lamb being delivered to the kitchen. Wine is from real whole pig skins. In the bar around the corner are the huge clay vats (jugs?) used to store the wine batches.

It's a fun website that does a good job of showing it's history.

The gastronomy link talks about it's WFO dishes

And the illustrations link starts off with the old wine cave.

Cool place! Those hams and salamis made me suddenly hungry. I'm jealous again!

Vaughn reminded me that the first time we went to this place there were two white Rolls Royces in a leanto next to the restaurant....no money in the wine and restrauant bidness!
