Default Amicas - Salida, Colorado

Stopped by here in late July while heading back East from a family vacation road trip (6200 miles in 17 days). It's a micro-brewery/restaurant with a wood-fired pizza oven. The place is a haven for the ski crowd in the winter, and the tourist crowd in the summer. They had a huge selection of pizzas and sandwiches and the SW decor was smashing. Second best pizza I've ever had in my life - very good, but not quite as good as the pizza I had this past May up in Prince Albert, ON at Canuck Jim's bread bash.

Nope I do not...just little old Campania for now. The article about pizzeria of the year is on our website at www.campaniapizza.com (the banner on front) if anyone wants to read it. It is pretty funny and everyone has been needling me relentlessly about "gliding".
