Thumbs up Tandoori

We made naan, chickpea dahl, potatoes wtih spinach, and tandoori chicken -- all in our small inside oven. It was great -- too much fun. I used terracotta pans for the curries and my Tuscan grill to hold the skewers.

More later on the recipes, but here are the photos. Highly recommended.

Wow! I just ate dinner and those pics are still making my mouth water and my stomach growl. Construction of my oven can't start too soon!

Default chicken

last weekend. chicken in a romanoff cover clay cooker. this is like a little oven inside the larger pizza oven. the browning occurred with the cover on and nearly all the liquid is from the chicken. 90 minutes - 650 F three bricks up the wall.

also yukon gold potatoes with sea salt and olive oil.
